Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that loved music. She grew up listening mostly to classical music, old boleros, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is a fan of Tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of theatrical performance. Ana began to learn how to sing and play music in the early years together with her mom. She was given more formal vocal training when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. After moving from Mexico to America in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to various community-based projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as and the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, by sharing her knowledge songs from Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially for the young generation to keep this tradition vibrant.
